Tulips Speech Therapy was founded by Hession Hogan, a specialist in her field with a diverse and extensive educational background in speech-language pathology and communicative disorders. She also teaches a graduate course as a faculty member at Speech Disorders in San Francisco State University. Hession has worked extensively with children with various diagnoses and syndromes such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and many others. Hession is a therapist who believes in continuing education so that she can serve her patients in the highest capacity. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), California and Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA).

Session's sister, Maggie, graduated with a Bachelor and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She specializes in childhood apraxia of speech and has worked for over ten years with children that have special needs. Maggie specializes in childhood apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language delays, autism and other underdevelopment conditions. She is passionate about working with adults with traumatic brain injury, those who stutter and has worked with the transgender community of all ages. Both sisters experienced the need for Social Skills in San Francisco as children and together, Session and Maggie bring happiness and comfort to children and adults with Speech Therapy in San Francisco.
